In collaboration with FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), and specifically with the EUFMD division, we conceived and developed an immersive virtual experience to host one of the most significant scientific summits in the field of livestock infectious diseases.

The goal was ambitious: to transform a global physical event — usually held in international venues with high logistical costs — into a digital experience accessible from anywhere in the world. The result was an interactive 3D environment, accessible via browser from any device, designed for veterinarians, researchers, university professors, regulatory bodies, and pharmaceutical companies.

The environment hosted:
- Branded virtual booths for leading pharmaceutical companies such as Thermo Fisher Scientific, MSD Animal Health, IDVet, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Biogenesis Bago.
- Educational mini-games created in Unity to encourage engagement and gamified learning:
- A clinical quiz on animal diagnoses featuring an animated 3D cow.
- A semantic puzzle with keywords related to EUFMD values.
- A prize game with quizzes and a final leaderboard among participants.

The platform also became a permanent hub to:
- Maintain a consultable archive post-event.
- Access abstracts and scientific materials in PDF format,
- View live streams and video recordings of presentations

In addition to providing an engaging experience for thousands of professionals and users connected from around the world, the project represented a breakthrough in the paradigm of international scientific dissemination, demonstrating how technology can optimize costs, amplify the reach of an event, and reduce the environmental impact associated with travel.
