Maker Faire – Maker ARt

A tailor-made app for experiencing art in AR

On the occasion of Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition 2020, we designed and developed Maker ART, a custom app that takes art beyond traditional boundaries.

This unique project involved collaboration between AR Market and three prominent European artists: Antoni Abad, Elena Bellantoni, and Rä di Martino, who wanted to offer the public a representation of their artistic concepts — “Billionaires,” “Freezing,” “Hic Sunt Leones” — leveraging the full potential of Augmented Reality.

The app was designed to provide an optimized user experience on smartphones and tablets, ensuring smooth performance and an intuitive interface. Fully customized in both graphics and functionality, Maker ART is a concrete example of how a mobile app can become a narrative, experiential, and emotional tool for high-profile cultural and artistic events.
